On the record
Terms of Service
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between Greenlit (“Greenlit”, “we”) and the company or person that creates an account (“you”, “Customer”). By creating an account or using the Service at greenlithr.com, you agree to them.
The Service
Greenlit turns a form into a sequential approval chain with an audit trail, and provides HR modules — employee records, leave, payroll, expenses, attendance, cash advance, loans, official business, overtime and performance appraisal — built on that engine. Available features may change as the product develops.
Greenlit is early-stage software. We work to keep it correct and available, but it is provided without a formal uptime guarantee during early access.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for your users’ actions.
- Keep credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must have the authority to enter the employee data you load, and a lawful basis to process it. As between us, you are the controller of that data (see the Privacy Policy).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, using the Service;
- upload malware, or try to breach, overload, or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell or provide the Service to a third party except your own workforce;
- reverse-engineer or copy the Service, except where the law says that cannot be restricted.
Statutory calculations
Payroll figures — contributions, withholding tax, thirteenth-month pay — are computed from rate tables that you or your payroll team load and mark as verified. Greenlit does not verify those figures for you and does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for confirming that the rates, and the resulting payslips, are correct before you rely on them or file anything with an authority.
Fees
New accounts start on a time-limited free trial. When the trial ends the workspace becomes read-only — you keep access to everything already recorded, but creating new records requires a paid plan. We will tell you the price and terms before the trial starts and give you the trial period to decide; you may decline by simply not continuing. Once you are on a paid plan, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change, and you may decline it by closing your account. Early customers keep the terms they were offered for as long as their account stays active.
Your data
You keep all rights to the data you put into the Service. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it to run the Service for you. On request, or on account closure, we will provide an export of your data in a common format and then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. If we discontinue the Service as a whole, we will give account holders at least 60 days’ notice and a window to export their data.
Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or PHP 5,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk, with notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
